We loved Valencia, there is a certain charm
about it. Would have liked to explore it a bit more, but on a
bicycle. Getting out of Valencia during their business rush hour was pretty
easy as we made our way to Granada, a journey of 490km on the highway. Happy
days, there were no tolls to pay. We saw the Sierra Nevada mountain range with
snow covered peaks looking spectacular as we got closer to Granada.
The weather on the ground
in Granada was cold and overcast; colder than a Sydney winter day. That didn’t
stop us from exploring the old town of Granada with it’s narrow cobble stone
lanes going up to a hill top, the view from which, was panoramic.
As experienced perviously in Barcelona and Valencia, the locals here have been very nice and helpful especially our host Marta
