For a change, the sky was blue and the sun was shining today.
Early start, we took the train to Tarragona, a charming medieval city, which
remains untouched by time. The beauty of this place is the well-preserved Old
Town, full of monuments and narrow cobble stone alleys. The walk took us past
Amphitheatre roma, Central Market, the Forum square, the Cathedral and the main
boulevard called “Rambla Nova”.
What lovely and helpful local people we have met since the start
of our tour, our experience in Tarragona with the locals was no different. A
special mention to the young lady in the Tourist Information who assisted us in
obtaining tickets on our desired date to the Alhambra in Granada that we were
struggling to get. Happy days.
